Why did you start a cleaning agency?
Corby Cleaning Company was created because Dawn felt her expertise and knowledge of the cleaning industry could be shared in her own way. With over 30 years of experience, she knew she could teach others how to clean incredibly well and use time effectively. Her skills in time management, specialist knowledge in end-of-tenancy cleans and connections within the industry made her the perfect person to run Corby Cleaning Company.
Is this a chain?
No. This is a locally run business, with local people in mind. The products we buy support other small businesses in Corby.
Will I always have the same cleaner?
Yes. This is our aim, obviously, this may not always be possible and there may be cleaner fluctuations but the benefit of working with Corby Cleaning is we have a team of cleaners who can cover if your cleaner is unwell or on holiday.
I only want a cleaner once a month.
Yes, this is absolutely fine. We do have a 1 hr minimum clean but you can have a cleaner once a month, once a week, or every three months. We offer flexibility.
Do I give my cleaner a key?
How you would like to handle your keys with your cleaning is unique to everyone. We do have secure offices in Corby with a locked box where keys are stored. These are collected and dropped off before and after each clean. Most of our customers have a key-locked box on the property. This will all be confirmed at your first clean appointment.
Can I have a DBS-checked cleaner?
Yes. We have cleaners who have been DBS checked, or if you would like your existing cleaner to be checked we can arrange this. A DBS-checked cleaner can clean where there are vulnerable adults, elderly, or children who may on the property.
Will you supply the cleaning products?
We do supply our own products, this is because our staff are trained on how to use these correctly and efficiently. If you would like your own products being used that is no problem at all. Please make this clear during the initial cleaning audit with Dawn.
How many hours will I need a cleaner for?
This is easily established on our first contact and will depend on the type of cleaning you want and how many rooms you have in your home or office.
Will I meet my cleaner?
Absolutely. All of our cleaners have been approved by Dawn but of course, it is so important that you are happy with our choice. The first meet and greet will discuss your cleaning requirements and be a chance to get to know one another.
I’m not happy with my cleaner.
That’s OK! It can happen. You can speak to Dawn, rather than directly to your cleaner and your cleaning program can be reviewed and a new cleaner can be supplied if the problem can not be solved. The most important thing is to speak to us as soon as you are not happy. The situation can be addressed quickly and smoothly.
I need a cleaner quickly.

Do you decorate?
No, we are not painters but we can prep an area ready for decorating.
Do you only offer indoor cleaning?
Our staff are trained to clean interiors, however, we do also work with window, carpet/floor and garden cleaners. Get in touch for a quote and we can arrange both the inside and the outside to be cleaned.
